My dad Chuck T. of HARDCORE HOTRODS of Rome, N.Y. wants to know if anyone has successfully completed this swap? I wanna see their pics as proof. Cause he in my opinion after researching the internet day and night he seems to be the first to do it. So if you know or have seen anyone who has done it i wanna see pics and date of swap. I have read the whole thread, no one is hating on you, you have not provided any proof that the swap is complete, all you show is the engine sitting in the bay.

What is the big deal about being the first to do this, who cares.

If you are looking to get work for your company out of this thread good luck with the attitude given towards the posters.

And BTW many many different swaps have been done and with the age of these cars everything possible for engine swaps has most likely been attempted or completed. You don't see the guy who first tried out a Holset turbo on a dsm boasting and bragging about it without providing any details to what he did to get it to work. You my friend have come across as a prick by telling ppl to provide pics of other peoples work and basically that you think you are the best out there and can make anything happen.

not to be ignorant, but i have an idea. instead of trying to be the first to do it(besides, you're too late, already done), why don't you be the first that not only put that engine in a 1 or 2g car, but be the first that went through all the hassle to do it, and actually made the engine bay look even half decent. you say that you are doing it to promote your shop, well, if i seen that someone went through all that work to put that type of engine in, and had such a shabby engine bay, i would just laugh at you and the car.
now, i find it funny that every time you or your son posts' about ray, you right away start saying " oh is it x motor,x trans,x awd.........", if you want to feel so high on your horse, how bout' you put the block # on here and see if anyone has done it with the same matching numbers, then you know you will be #1

also, 90 percent of the time, bragging about doing this and doing that results in the swap going on craigslist, and the test dummy car going to the scrap yard.then we never hear of this again.

Your friend is not the first and backing some one that is not creditable is saying alot about you. If MKY101 cant post pictures or videos you as a friend to actually back him up should take pictures or videos for him and post it. Then maybe you both will be creditable and have some proof that MKY101 is seeking of others that have done this or witnessed!

If im not mistaken aren't 6g72s bad about dropping valves for no apparent reason? Ive got a friend with a vr4 and it spends more time on jack-stands than it does on pavement. Way to be different but all you did was over-complicate an already over complicated car. Supposedly there's a guy in dallas doing an LS swap, that should be interesting.

The car is not ready to drive yet. There is still alot to be done. And when you think "shop", dont think of AMS or a Slowboyracing type environment.

As of right now, the engine is where it needs to be along with the rest of the drive train.

Right now, he is working on matching the final drive of the transmission with the rear end.

TT Cobras, 500whp SRT 4's, built Turbo Supras, 10 seconds DSMs, and turbo'd Hondas have come out of this "shop".
