The car is not ready to drive yet. There is still alot to be done. And when you think "shop", dont think of AMS or a Slowboyracing type environment.

As of right now, the engine is where it needs to be along with the rest of the drive train.

Right now, he is working on matching the final drive of the transmission with the rear end.

TT Cobras, 500whp SRT 4's, built Turbo Supras, 10 seconds DSMs, and turbo'd Hondas have come out of this "shop".

and you still defend him when he is wrong. wrong in his ignorant aditude. instead of just taking his side and giving your remarks because you are buddy buddy with him/them, when hhe is wrong, maybe you should not put yourself in the middle of his stupidity

MKY101, i know you were going to bed like a half hour ago, and see your name at the bottom , so you must be reading......... i don't think that your idea is bad at all. i also like to do projects that are different. i know that you weren't expecting to find out on here that someone has already done it, and what hurts the most of all, is that you already started. so instead of it being a complete loss, i would love to see that powerplant go in a nice d.d 67-72 chevelle or another older hot rod. i dought that has been done before, but this time just read up and make sure first. seems like we are all beating our heads on the wall with this thread, and you are set in your own thoughts on it so let me end it by saying that i hope to view this thread months from now to see a candy apple 1g (or chevelle) with that monster jdm spec engine pushing some massive ponies

Hubz91 Custom Ds Motor Mount, Front Crossmember, Ft Motor Mount. Back M Mount Redrill/shim, Trans Stock. Custom T Pipes, Extreme Psi Fmic 2 In 1 Out. My Shop Keeps Me Too Busy To Devote Several Days In A Row To It. I Look Forward To Some Down Time So I Can Get Back To It. As I Solve The Problems I Will Update. My Research Showed Easier Install On 2g But Tighter Fit. This Is Low Buck 2g Cost More.

I do not understand you haters. I have started something you guys only dream about....

This comment made me ROFL...

I could care less about some crap engine

Although i will give you props for doing something unique :coy:

Look At The Profiles Of Some Of The Haters

If your judging people by profiles... then look at mine and call me a hater ;)

Ok. Fair enough. I guess this thread can be closed/locked/deleted and we will spend time on a making a new "build thread" with pics and "how to's" when the car is ready.

:thumb:

That's probably for the best. A build blog will leave out the majority of the haters. To be honest, I'd like to see BrokenTsi do the log. No offense, but I just can't read your friends posts. The english is just beyond comprehension. It would be cool to see a build blog on this. I've always been a fan of the 3kGT but the complexity of the engine over the 4g63 was a turn off. Start snapping some pictures and posting them up; I'll follow the build. As for who was first, I don't care. I want to see who did it best. Obviously Ray didn't care for the performance and abandoned it. I'd like to see the final build taken to the strip and see some quarter miles tic'd off. That will be the best end to this.

I think I know where mky101 is coming from he basically did something that he hasnt seen or heard off and since its unique not for the purpose of being the fastest he wanted to show us because is a big accomplish from him and his dad and I give them credit for it. Who here that does something unique or one in a few that doesnt want to be recognize for it. Just give them credit for doing it and I would like to see it personally pm me.

I swear with every new topic i read, people on here seem more and more retarded. Why does he want to do it? There is a book, with hundreds and hundreds of pages. Its called the book of world records. Why does anyone ever want to be the first? Why do people take and acura ls motor and convert it to vtec? Is it going to be faster than say taking the ls motor and just put higher compression pistons in it? No. People do unique things every day. Look at the guy who did the compound set up. Why? He could have made the same amount of power with much less work and less money. But he did it to say he did it, he accomplished something. It also gave him a flatter curve, one of the advantages. This swap, like already mentioned, has its advantages. More weight on the front tires and probably a flatter curve.

nobody said its about advantages or power is unique, they're alot of things people do to our cars not for power or advantages like putting supra tailights on are cars my opinion is are tailights look just as fine but is different and unique. Just get the point different/unique

mky101, so far nice job on the swap. id love to see it, its diferent. everyone around here does 6bolts. you ever go to the valley?

By the way a5.4 in a foxbody is way to easy to be very proud of, try like a 6.1 hemi in a foxbody that would be something to be proud and that you could be cocky over. And yeah I said hemi.

While the project is underway, I'd love to see your build blog as you progress.

However, in the interest of reducing the flaming, as well as useless posts, I'm going to close this particular thread for now.

Good luck with your project. Keep us updated.
