it dosnt need to be a upgrade really but im not against a upgrade either .

the main thing is that it will hold up , and will install with not alot of modification.

*if anyone can point me in the right direction of where ishould be looking or a link to a good auction ,it would be appreciated.

I'll point you to the classifieds on this site. You have a T25 stock, so to bolt a 16g on, you'll need an install kit (most notably, a J-pipe). If you want an upgrade without much work, look into a T28, although it's a little more expensive.

hmm ive seen personally 2 people with really bad results from ebay 16g turbos, there cheap for a reason they work pretty good for like 6 months then go out..u can risk it,or id suggest a good 14b,t25, or spend the extra 200 bucks and get a real MHI 16g....craigslist is your friend!!

Wes, keep in mind he's a newbie and can't access the classifieds yet.

I would personally stay away from the typical eBay turbo as I haven't heard anything good about them. If you're looking to spend $200-$300 total, you'll probably need more than you think (as Wes stated an install kit for a 16g). Do some research as you can typically get a 14b for $100ish and then get all the other accessories you need to install it.

Agreed. My ebay evo 3 lasted 25k running 16psi. I did a little reading on adjusting the WG before

install and it lasted longer then i expected, longer then anyone else ive heard who bought one. Only

problem is when it blew it did alot of damage. Lol the whole compressor wheel came out.

I too suggest if you want a evo 3 go with an MHI because they will last a hell of alot longer then ebay.

Remember if you use a mitsu turbo 14b, 16g, run the feedline from the head not the

stock 2g oil filter housing location.

I found my first 14b when i turbocharged my n/t talon a few years ago about 100 bucks off ebay. Great buy, ive seen 16gs also on ebay four about 200, spend your money on oem turbo. Youll thank yourself in the log run.

I think he can access them, but he can't post in them. Most of what I've sold through the classifieds has been to people with <50 posts.

One didn't even have a single tech-forum post, but since it was a cheaper part and he paid through Paypal, I wasn't worried.

I have two 14bs that need rebuilding. I also have the rebuild kit if you want to buy the turbo...

Actually, New Members can access the Classifieds to make purchases. They simply have posting permissions removed, so just no selling or WTB posting.

EDIT: OOpps, I was late on the reply.
