How does it work? I can't cut the SS line any shorter. Kit came with no flange for the oil pan and no gasket. I had to take the stock one and have a shop weld the thread piece that came with the kit onto to the stock flange ($10). The turbo flange holes were way off. I had to drill holes in the flange to make them closer together. Gasket was also wrong fitting.

The extremepsi one aint much better. The flanges fit perfectly and the hose is easier to put on the fittings because it's not SS. I don't know if it's because I need the 90 degree fitting (they gave me a 45). That fitting is leaking though. I don't know what to do, maybe buy the $12 oem one.

I hate these. I had a SS one, and my friend took all my good parts because he bought a ####ed up one. So I ended up with shitty parts, it leaked, bought another used one, leaked. Made my own with push lock, leaked. I HATE these things.

if you have trouble with SS return lines...just buy an OEM one...cut out the flex part, replace that with a rubber/silicon hose section, and easy OEM fit...no isssues...

I've seen a few of the various ebay selections. I hated it when people would bring them for installation because they NEVER fit.

We've got some good options. A good push lock setup will fit, not leak and hold up. Many of the ones I've used have been on cars for YEARS. No issues at all.

Yeah but in that case when you get a worm clamp and tighten it down it usually crushes the stock tube. I had one from Dejon Power and it wouldnt stop leaking.

OP maybe get a 90* and see if it fits better?

The stock route with the flex cut out and use a rubber/etc hose. Just form a lip on the ends of the tubes or it will leak like crazy.

:cry::cry: Nope It doesn't. I bought mine from ExtremePSI, no fault of theirs (disclaimer) I had good dealings with them. BUT this 10-AN SS return line is the biggest POS I've ever come across. I used to build 3000+psi hoses for hydraulic lines on oil rigs and I know what good hoses are and this is not a good hose for this car. The limited length makes it virtually impossible to get the hose on. If you cut the hose long to give you flex, then it'll never line up on the threads. I had a 90 deg elbow and it was terrible. I tried putting it on as an assembled unit and screw the flanges into the turbo and oil pan and nearly stripped out the threads on the oil pan.

I gave up on the SS, and went to Lowes and bought nylon braided 5/8" ID (can't recall exactly, but take the fitting with you and size it at the store)poly hose and used the -AN fittings. The hose is way more pliable and when cut to the correct length it worked like a charm. The poly braided hose isn't as pretty, but will withstand the heat and corrosive properties of the oil and I haven't had it leak yet.

I don't understand why you're not running a stock one to begin with.

Pretty much every oil drain I fab to fit any turbo other than an MHI unit began life as a 2G oil drain. MHI turbos get a 1G oil drain no matter what car they're going on- all others get some variant of a 2G drain. I've even custom-fit 2G oil drains to the bottom of Garrett T3 turbos and they've worked perfectly.

The OEM 2G drains are cheap (I just bought three from JNZ @ $10 each), easy to work because the flex is at the bottom, and will not kink shut. It's a no-brainer.

I hope you're right. I ordered an oem one, picking it up Tuesday. When I searched on these forums, it seemed most people were using some type of aftermarket kit so that's why I didn't go oem first. bleh what a waste of money.
