I recently purchased a 2gmas. Will this work or what else will i need?

If the picture is true to the product, then it has what you need. the only thing I would be concerned about is the length of the MAS. I have a evo mas with a hard intake designed to fit 1g by DEJON POWERHOUSE and it still a tight fit. I am also using a very short filter.

Its the Injen style 2g intake. It has a 4 inch opening to mate with the 2g mas

You might need are nuts and bolts to hold the adapter plate to the MAS, doesn't look like they include them.

edit: I just ran out and took a picture so you can see how close it is, and also the type/size of the filter used. After reviewing the way the 1g bay looks, the recirculation inlet on the intake might not mate well with your current setup. are you running a FMIC or the stock sidemount set up?

Looke like it to me..But who knows maybe they include a baggie of nuts and botls that just arent pictured..

I have one of those ebay intakes, its a little hard to get the MAS in since the coupler is a bit small, but it works great. Its a good alternative to a Dejon or Injen intake.

It should work, and they do come with nuts + bolts for the adapter (atleast mine did from ChromeIntakes)
And mine is a bit of a tight fit, not sure how well it will fit the 1g.

As far as fitting the coupler over the mas, i just pulled the pipe and mas together, while my little bro used a flat head to stretch the coupler over it. I need to look into replacing the couplers though, they definitely feel cheap.

Ok cool guys thanks. I will order by the end of the month. Think I will see a power gain? And ya unfortunately it didnt come with pigtail, but guy who sold it to me is making me one. So you giys say buy it?

You'll definitely hear a difference, the intake will be louder, about ten fold louder. As to performance I don't know if you'll really "feel it", but I'm sure there will be a power gain, especially when you free something up like that compared to stock. Be extremely careful when tightening the adapter plate onto the MAS if you go to tight it will crack, after all it is just a plastic piece. I have one almost just like this I got off a wrecked 2g and it works fantastic. good luck.

yes it should that black plastic peice is the adaptor for your mas to put the round filter on

the stock intake is restrictive and causes turbulence. Yes you should feel a gain, very minimal though. This bolt on part is sort of a prerequisite for further upgrades.

Ya I guess so..I'm still on the crappy 1g mas..I guess I like to be more stock..But I do have a 2g mas with the pigtail just sitting around..

So how did it work out? I got that same kit a few years ago and wasn't impressed at all. I chucked the couplers and hoses. The inside of the intake needed cleaned up because it was so rough. Luckily mine didn't come with the filter or it would have probably went in the trash as well.

the evo mas system has the same diameter as the 1g, 3.125 inches. So an evo intake pipe might fit, and has the same diameter for the MAS.

For the 2g intake, it should work you would need a 4 inch to a 3.125 inch reducer coupler if you want to use an 1g mas.

Becareful of the recirc tube. On a 1g it'll be lower on the pipe, closer to the turbo.
