Ebay intake and bcs

Hello all,

I recently purchased an ebay intake since I do not plan on putting on a bigger turbo I thought why not for $70. So I have the intake mounted with the couplers, (Insanely hard trying to get them to fit the MAF and way too big for the T25 inlet) now i'm looking at the nipples and came across the bcs nipple. Now I looked at my bcs and found one hose going to the wastegate and the other... just dangling. Now I am slightly confused as to why it would just be dangling there and if I should just block the bcs nipple on the intake.

This shows the vacuum line disconnected on the solenoid so you should be fine and if you don't need emissions you can get rid of a lot of other things shown here

Also read this if you are just starting on this dsm there's a restrictor on the bcs

Best solution if your intake don't have the nipples for the bcs is to remove all the hoses from the bcs and the turbo get a manual boost controller and put it in but do not disconnect the bcs or else you will get a cel.

The hose going from the BCS to the intake is just for emissions. I ran without it for almost a year with no issue.

I'am lost, so does your intake pipe have a nipple for the BCS?

Yes it does have a bcs nipple

Just hook the hose on the BCS to the nipple on the intake pipe. unless I'am missing something.

The problem is that the hose that was originally there was never connected so I am debating whether I should connect the bcs hose or not

So the hose was never hooked up to your stock intake pipe?

Nope just found it dangling when I took off the stock unit
there was one hose going to the wastegate and one just dangling.

It probably fell off or wasn't hooked up when you got the car. I would just hook it back up, but that is totally up to you.
