ebay exhaust systems?

I actually purchased the Tsudo N1 exhaust off ebay, and it fit just fine and sounds great. I would reccomend it to most anybody.

I know many people that have these. They are not too bad. One friend has had one for 3 years now on his 2g. We have harsh winters here also. Bolts are rusty but he washes his car and polishes up the tip and all. They will last if you want them to last....a little elbow grease goes a long way.

several threads, most if not all positive comments. Ive seen it up close and personal. full stainless steel, thick flanges, nice clean welds, new bolts/gaskets, hangers. my friend got full turboback on ebay for $350 shipped. Should be cheaper if you are not in CALI.

Of course only downside, it is indeed 3" system, however just like some brand names, apexi, greddy to name a few. the downpipe will neck down to hook up to stock catback, and the catback starts necked down to fit stock downpipe. But nothing a trip to your local exhaust/muffler shop cant fix. For the price of one brand name catback that probably isnt stainless steel and too has a neck down, I say its a damn good deal.

It shouldnt be to bad actually. Right now i have a 2.5 inch VRS straight through, i just wanna go a little bigger with it if i ever needed in the future. The catback should bolt up good against the 2.5" Dp/testpipe (Im pretty sure on the X Tune its straight 3" but there is just a 2.5" flange to connect to the cat, i'll let everyone know for sure once its here.

I just purchased that exact one(link 1) a few days ago. Should be here on the 17th. I have read good things and the seller had 100% positive feedback. I will let you know all details when it arrives and after install. I would say go for it. The price is awesome, and haven't read anything negative about them yet. i am just hoping the massive 4.5" tip wont look too ridiculous! I might eventually just hack off the muffler and tip and weld my own up.

I also ordered that one and it should be here on the 19th. My concern is how it will look once mounted. Im hoping its not going to be at a weird angle or pointing down or something stupid...

You 2g fwd guys are so lucky to have a cheap and good catback.. hahah, The only cheap 1g fwd i've seen are pacesetters and they're only 2.5"

I bought this exhaust system back in October. It is very nice. Its just the same thing as the Apexi. I bought an Apexi downpipe and had the local exhaust shop put in on. They had to cut the downpipe to make it fit, but its all good. The tip is 4" I believe and yea, it does look really big on a stock bumper 95 or 96. I recommended my friend to buy it too, and he did and the performance is great. You save a lot of money going through ebay for the exhaust system. The angle is good, it doesn't look weird or anything, its just basically straight out. One thing to watch out for is make sure the bolts to the downpipe are in good, because mine came off and sounded crazy loud. My friends came off too, haha. So yea watch out for those bolts.

My buddy had this ebay exhaust but for his Subaru WRX. He's had it on for a good 2 years through winters, its in awesome shape. Sounds great too!

I agree with 90 tsi fwd. It is dificult to find a good inexpensive exhaust for the 1g fwd.

Hey got mine in the mail today. It is the one from the first link. Got it for 218 shipped. It came very well packaged. each part wrapped nicely in bubble wrap. It looks awesome. All welds look great, came with two mufflers and a resonator. The tip doesn't look quite as huge as i thought, but still does look big.

Well, i didnt want to start a new thread so im posting it in here. I received my Ebay (X Tune) AWD catback in the mail and bolted it up to my VRS 2.5 inch downpipe/testpipe.
The good.
190 bucks shipped
Very well finished exhaust with nice welds
Easy install
All around nice looking exhaust
Sounds really good, deep throaty tone similar to the Apex'i N1
The bad.
They forgot to send me the gaskets and hardware (I used Copper RTV)
The exhaust hanger closest to the o2 bung is too short (Exhaust is still very sturdy in that section)
The little hanger on the muffler is pretty much pointless, its facing the opposite way and about 3 inches too short (Im going to either have a shop weld a hanger on it, or just use metal wire and try to pull it closer)
The flange used to connect to the cat/testpipe is 2.5 inches, i thought this was great for me though because it bolted up perfect to my 2.5" testpipe, and it shouldnt be a problem for other people with the same or similar exhaust setup as me.

All in all i would highly recommend it, its 3/4 the price of most catbacks, and looks just as good. Only time will tell how long it will last though. It just kept sounding better and better as the day went on, but its is very loud if you dont have a Cat. to Ebay exhausts! Also, i will try to snap some under car pics and pics from the rear of it for you guys.

Yeah definately does. The one i just got is all stainless!

I have a question about it. Probably a dumb one but i am not familular with the eclipse exhaust set up.
On one of the sections there is a medium sized threaded hole. Does anyone know what that would be for? Would it be for a wideband o2 sensor? Can it just be clogged with something if that is the case?

Its for the rear o2 sensor, im pretty sure if you dont have a cat you can hook up the o2 for the wideband in that bung if im not mistaken.

Keep in mind that this is a home server so if it get hit with a lot of traffic it may take a bit to stream the video.

As I'm modding my car I'll be doing videos on each mod.

I have no complaints on the Ebay stuff, and I also buy parts locally as well, it all depends on the price,"I don't have money to burn".

I keep hoping the with so many parts available at great prices it will help bring down pricing on the brand name parts as I would prefer to stay with brand,"proven" parts.

On the muffler, why is there a small hole were the exhaust gases come out, instead of being open? I don't like the looks of that. I was thinking about buying this exhaust and i am now having second thoughts.
