Easytune box

So I am going to be installing a set of FIC 1650 bluemax injectors into my colt and I saw people recommend using the easytune box to make life easier. The box is discontinued though. It's seems like it is just a voltage regulator right? So could I just wire up and voltage regulator to the resistor box so it will get a stable voltage at all times. Thats the same idea right?

How are you tuning? They are low-z, right? Easy tune only stabilizes the voltage, you would need an injector driver or some way of tuning your afr and dead time.

I ran my low 1650s with link. They were finicky and transitioned from low pulse to higher pulses was always a problem BUT....my car was driven hard so I drove thru it

The easytune was basically just a better injector driver setup.
