Computer box?

OK guys there is a box behind the rear panel plastic behind the driver seat. What is it? Hoping I can just get rid of it.

Alarm system if i'm not mistaken. I ripped mine out, but I also do not have keyless entry which is also tied into that module I believe.

Hmmm would be good to no if its tied to the remote entry. I have been debating on pulling my door panels for weight also but didn't want to loose my power windows and power doors.

The power still works and whatnot, you'll just lose factory keyless entry from the factory remote... which I doubt you even still have.

Just removing anything and everything from the car that is not necessary. My DSM is just my weekend toy. So its partially gutted and want to clean it up little. This just looks bad on the frame IMO.
