Easiest way to install Megan downpipe?

Was wondering what's the easiest way to install the 3" Megan downpipe? I'm using the Megan ss o2 housing and went to bolt up to the downpipe.

However, after getting the driverside bolt in with gasket. I can barely get the other bolt into place let alone a wrench or socket on to tighten to specs. I got a wrench on but it's 1/8-1/4 turns at a time and I'm unable to get enough muscle on the wrench to get a proper seal.

Just wondering if anyone had some tech tips or tricks they used.

Honestly the easiest way is to not do it and pay someone else.

But i have always just hammered a socket on, it slightly dents the pipe some more when your done.

May have figured it out. Would it work if I pulled out the downpipe, and o2 housing. Bolt the exhaust up to the o2. Then put it in as one, then rebolt up the o2? Just thought I'd ask before I took it all apart to find it won't work.

You would have less room to work on the lower o2 housing bolts but its possible.

To me easiest way would be buy a different downpipe. But if you are hell bent on using it denting it is one of the easiest ways shouldn't be too bad for it

I use a crows foot to tighten the nuts on my 3" downpipe....

This should work. Have same problem on my exhaust and a crows foot wrench did the trick

I have mine on with no problems same megan pipe on my tsi.
