E85 wouldnt start this morning

Been on e85 for a year or so. It starts hard normally but today wouldnt start at all until i sprayed some gas into throttle body. Then it ran like it wasnt firing on all cylinders until it got warm.

Anyone have suggestions? Cant be doing that every morning

Can you adjust your "coolanttempadj" (I think that's what it is in LINK) for a richer mixture depending on temperature? I am on E85 and if I had my computer I would give you some similar settings, but sadly I am at work. I bet some others will get in here and help out with that. You could post in the other section for help with link if nobody checks this thread!

I can adjust it... i had to lower it all winter it was idlingg too rich on warm up.

It is acting like it doesnt want to ignite rather than not enough fuel.

I got a fresh tank yesterday, may now its true e85 where winter is e70.. not sure

Well you are familiar with the other adjustments so your not new to the program....hmmm ran better once it warmed up. I was going to say check the Power Transistor but usually they will start acting up when they get warm. Plugs nice and clean???

Ill have to pull when i get home... im wondering if compression is just starting to get low enough it doesnt want to ignite properly on start.. when i squirted gas(dont do this at home) it fired up. Took 3 tries to get it to idle on its own then super rough for about 15min till it purred like a kitten again.

No smoke or anything to give you any clues? A good ole compression test sounds like its in order if you are suspicious.

No smoke at all... i redid valve seals this summer and replaced turbo and absolutely no smoke. I get the morning e85 vapor til warm and thats it. Compression when seals were done was 130ish actoss the board which i know is getting down there and why im trying to get this 6bolt built. Just need to get by til then.

Yeah that is kinda low but I would think it would still fire up just be low on power. Scratching my head......

Would a coil going bad maybe be bad cold then as heat rises work ok?

I need to test resiatance but i assume needs to be cold to duplicate the issue

Its pretty new... the connection was bad last summer and through a code.. i can ohm test it though too

one more thought.. we had a bunch of moisture. I was told by a friend of mine that when his coil was going bad it would act up only when their was some rain outside. Does that legitimate? Then when the car heats up and moisture is gone.. it worked fine

Both coils testing at 15.2 standard is 10.3 to 13.9... accordingto what i have on a diagram....anyone else test theirs?
