Wow.. what a difference in tuning capabilities going from 93 pump.. to E85..

The motor is a 2.0L 6 Bolt NT block with a ported and polished head, L19 headstuds, ARP mains, BSE, ferrea valves, SI dual valvesprings with titanium retainers, FP4R cams, CP 9:1 dual stage coated pistons, manley I beam rods, and ACL bearings.

Based on my 70-90mph time I know shes gotta be making some serious power.. And I haven't even touched timing yet

I Know im gonna run out of pump with this single 255 in tank.. I plan on running a bosch 044 inline. I'm thinking about just taking her to 30psi and working with timing from there.

She blew the spark out 2 or 3 little blips in that log.. The plugs are gapped at .028 I plan on tightening them with a new set at .020-.018 tomorrow.

Looks good man, I think you should be able to get a good bit more timing out of it. My 2.3l got up to 17* at redline on e85 and my motor hated timing advance on pump.

I would love to see some dyno tuning results from your car.

Thanks man! What boost were you able to get 17* out of at redline?

And I plan on playing on a dyno in the near future.. she has to be around 500awhp.
 
franek where are you gettin e-85 around here?

Its about a 20 minute drive for me but when I go i fill 3, 5 gallon containers and based on the difference in tuning capabilities.. Its worth it haha

I was at 27psi tapering off to 24 but from a PTE-5031 so it was only 45 lbs/min. Here is a log if you want to check it out. I have my A/F as ZT2wideband and my boost is AEM 3.5 Bar.

Here's another log from tonight. I'm going to the track tomorrow, we'll see how she does.

After this log I added 1 more degree of timing from 6500rpm on.

Pulling like a freight train.. 70-90mph 1.4 seconds.

What do you think?!

im running corn juice now too. and its awesome. i break the tires loose on the fwy at WOT in 3rd gear (FWD) its awesome. i have a wally 255hp and i didnt have it rewired and at 22psi the pump was maxed out.

i rewired it and now am boosting 25psi and i think i still have some room to play with... im thinking 28psi on my setup may max out the 255.

im also eliminating the banjo bolt on the fuel filter to see if that helps
 
Could you explain the logicality or give data that shows how that is possible.

Being at the limit of the pump, not the injectors, you can lower the fuel pressure to allow the pump to flow more. The tradeoff is your idc's go up. With 43 psi base, and 30 psi of boost, the pump is seeing 73 psi, not counting losses in the lines. Lowering the pressure makes your injectors smaller, but allows the pump to operate more efficiently.
