This is one of my first logs, I am very new to tuning but want to learn as much as I can. For now I am not real confident in what adjustments to make so I would appreceiate any help. It was cool when this log was made around 50-60 degrees. I was running 16-17psi stock smic. Check my mod list it is up to date if you need to know everything that I have.

Thanks,
Ben

Would you add the same amount throughout the entire range or more fuel where timing is being pulled a little.

I am not really sure the rpm point when I punched it, there were to many other things to concentrate on. I did this log by myself so I had to run the logger.

Thanks for the tip

I changed my settings completely on the advice of a guy in my local dsm club. He is helping me tune the car. Just wanted your guys opinion as well. I added a lot more fuel and seemed to loose lots of power and my timming looks pretty bad to me. This is just where he suggested to start tunning from;

It seems to me like I was getting better timing when I was leaner in the upper range.

Those second settings are way too rich. Lot's of timing being pulled, hmmm possible rich knock, go back to the original settings, just from your 4000 rpm points richen it up 4 points. :thumb:

Richen it up from original settings four points @ 4k and above, and leave below the same? I was not aware that you got knock from being to rich. Power at my new settings seemed very low compared to original settings.

Also a side note, the first run was done at night around 10pm probably around 45-50 degrees, the second run was the next day around 5:30pm probably around 65-70 degrees. I dont know how much temp will make a difference but I just thought I would add that info.

I'd say from 4.5k up to around 6k you need more fuel. richen that range up some more. I have basically all the same mods as you and although I thought I was getting rich knock for a while it ended up I was not. I run aroun -17 to -19 across my range for 625cc injectors. You won't be much furthur off. I see no reason why you can't slug in -18 or -20 across the board and make a run. If its too rich you'll know because it will start to buck and sputter. Have a friend follow you...if there is a black swirl then you are getting rich knock.

you can check my profile then goto my site if you want to see my logs and settings on the afc.
