Nice numbers :thumb: . Can't wait to see the video of this. Looks like the 300whp goal is in sight. :D

What octane gas were you running while on the dyno?

Good numbers for a turbo I thought would be shit. Hopefully those kind of numbers will hold out for the next few years with no trouble. Thanks for doing something Buschur and the other vendors who sold this turbo were too lazy/scared to do: dyno it.

I had read that before,on buschur's defense and i was actually undecided on who was telling the truth. There is abig difference in advancement in taiwan as opposed to china.I know this because i use to dealwith a lot of chinese companies when i worked for a import/export macjinery company and i worked in the parts dept. so i can understand that one.I guess only time will tell if you'r turbo has withstood to the elements.I hope so,it sounds like a good deal.I guess we'll have to keep bringim up this thread fromthe dead every now and then to check up on yor turbo.Well i guess we all gotta thank you for having the balls to try out this product.props, good numbers and hope they last.peace

haha adam(turbo98) you're like a dsmtuners guinea pig...first it was the OBX fmic, and now its the EVO III GT that everyone talks about and debating but only u actually go out and buy the dern thing and dyno/test it.

Wish I had money to go out and just grab stuff and dyno test it hahah. good numbers tho man. :thumb:

Well guys and girls, I'm going to be dyno/tuning again this coming thursday. I really really want 300whp. It's been my goal since I bought my car. So let's all hope this turbo puts me there... :thumb:

20psi should get you there :thumb:

PS why didn't you dyno with 20 in the first place?

Well, I was worried about my head gasket. My boost contoller was hooked up wrong and I was spiking really high, but now it's fixed so it stays at 20 which is where I want it. Also, last time they only had 2 hours to tune with because it costs $3 a minute to tune. They said they only need about another hour to get it at 300whp.....

that's 180/hour for dyno tuning. you are getting ripped off.

My local Dyno charges $100/hr with WB Tuning ($60 for 4-runs), then again they weren't of much help to me on my last (and only) visit hence my medeocre HP :(

I've seen anywhere from 80-100 for tuning, and anywhere from 40-75 for 3 runs. That's why 180 seemed OMG to me.

Sorry to get off-topic.

yeah it might be a little pricey.....but the guys doin it are geniuses and the did get him from 225whp to 278whp (after fuel pump, injectors, upgrade from 14b) they should be able to this time.

Great numbers man. Im specially happy to see a higher torque figure than hp. I bet she moves now :shhh:
