Hey guys. For couple weeks I been gathering parts. 1st off let say my car been running kinda limpy. Used to hold 10 psi and recently it stutters when I pass five psi or go full trottle. So wanting to put a used eprom ecu with dsm link v2. Since I had time to install it today I did it. I plug it in knowing that link v2 will default to what the chip was program for cause once battery is disconnet all tunes and so on are bye bye. I switch the spark plug wire order as is says in ecmlink.com. car turn on and idle good. Took it for test drive while the laptop was charging. Note I took the testdrive with stock chip settings not even inputing any info. I know that was a risky chance to take. On to the test drive. I quickly felt quick trottle response. No hesitation. Punched on it and wow. Love the way is feeling. Held 10 psi without studdering and moves quickly. Now it feels like an awd turbo. I got home went and got the laptop plug it in and connected to link.i know nothing about link but stated reading up. I was trying find were I input the injector settings. Once I found it I saw the injectors. Default on the chip are 550s. Rpm target 920 and cant remember the rest. But my question is can I run with this default set or will it hurt me even tho the car is running and performing alot better. I got stock 7bolt with 14b turbo. Hks bov. Everything is stock for the moment. I got denso 720cc fmic, but waiting on 250 walbaro and afpr so I can put these injectors in and move the boost to 15psi. Any advice and comments I appreciate it. Thanks in advance
