Hi I have DSMLink v3 lite and have really no idea how to use it. I've read and read and read I do about everything with it I can to learn and I really mean it !

My A/F at idle is 14.1 / 14.2 / 14.3 when i is fully warmed up and that is the best i can do now people told me that is very good and i am happy but when i am in boost it is way to rich it goes to about 10.0 or even 9 !!!! now how do i get that to stop ?

i don't know how to post a log but if you guys need one just tell me how to post it and i will . so if there is any one having the same problem as me or did and knows how to fix it help a dsmer out thanks

Get afrest and actual wb to match

Calibrating your Target Air/fuel Ratios Isn't all there is to it... That may still be the target Raitio in Da
The Factory maps are rather rich and "Safe" Air/fuel Ratios.

There is a lot more then Just that Even if you get everything lined up to what they need to be

You need to be able to apply actual changes to your Taget Airfuel ratios and Timing in the Maps for that particular Setup, Whether it be for fuel(s) used, octane or Compression ratio of the motor Etc. Even then things are not that simpile as not evey setup like the same amount of X boost Vs X timing with X Air/fuel Ratio... .

well i wish i knew more about dsm link then i looked every were watched about every video and everything i need some one to spoon feed me and that's sad to say that i can't learn for my self i'm sorry i'm just not a good tuner i guess.

I was pointing him down the path. First step is getting those 2 matching, then jump into DA fuel, spark, injbateryadj, etc etc
A ton of people have or did have the same problem you have now. Its ok, im lining mine up finally this weekend. Trust me, its a long tedious job. Then the repeated pulls and adjustments....... ooooy vey LOL. Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, til your eyes pop out. I just had a post about getting them lined up. Here it is: Log mafraw do some cruising and try to get good steady readings at 50,100,150,200 hz etc. Then review your log. Compare afrest to wb02(whatever you have, lc1, mtxl, aem). If say at 400hz afrest says 13.2 but you actual wbo2 says 14.2(just random scenario here) then you would take the 400hz slider and INCREASE it. Vice versa too, if those nmbers were flipped you would decrease the slider for that Hz. Theres a really good article in tuning and engine mgmt titled something like "boostest and actual dont line up". Its about 5 pages of the best info on this site

So true, all engines ARE different. Im finding knock at 22psi at like 6* timing @ 11.1:1 afr. WTF LOL. Im just finally done remodeling my house so now im getting into this car deeper and deeper. Its a real chore.
