I recently purchased DSMLINK V2 from someone on ebay and had the transfer done so I have access to the support and also They are going to change my chip settings so maybe I can get some help from people with EXPERIENCE please....LOL

What would yall suggest a good launch rpm for a fwd with a E16G and also idle? I also am running evo 8's 560cc injectors I plan on upgrading to a PTE 50trim in the near future what size injectors should I get programmed in the chip i was thinking around 880's or you think even larger? What should my rev get set at cause currently its at 7750 but I do have HKS 264/264 so I was thinkin maybe 8000?

let me know what you think I will upgrade my mods now

It doesn't matter. It's just a default incase your battery dies and your ecu resets itself. So 850-950 for idle and have it set for the injectors you have now.
Just plug in your laptop if you want to change something.

Well currently its set for:

Injectors: RC 550
Idle: 750
Launch: 4500
Rev: 7750

and I have a fwd so launch I can imagine is too high. I want to tell them the exact injectors what I want to run in my car so if I do loose power I can still make it to where ever because I doubt I will leave a laptop in my car at all times may attract thiefs :nono: I still want to know what rev should I change to?

ANY MORE OPINIONS? THANKS

You shouldn't be using an expensive laptop in the car. Find something for $100 or less on ebay that you can keep hidden in the car. What you have to worry about more is the DSM link cable. If that gets stolen or lost you're pretty much SOL since that's what makes the 2g dsmlink. 1g guys don't have to worry about this problem.

The settings you listed are fine. You can play around with launch setting some more until you get it where you want it.

Some 720's through 780's should be fine for a 50 trim but since you have DSMLink you can pretty much go with as big as possible just in case you want to go with a bigger turbo in the future.

I run 1050's right now with my FP Green which is overkill but if I decide to go with a bigger turbo/setup I won't have to worry about getting different injectors.

Here are my settings:

Injectors - 1150cc (are currently in the car, but also ran 450cc's before I got the 1150's)
Idle - 750 (stock idle) [Is currently set at 800 because it doesn't like to idle at 750.]
Launch - 3500
Rev Limit - 7500 (stock)
Invert Cam Angle Sensor - yes

I would say to leave idle and rev limit at stock settings (see above).

Launch you can put wherever you want but I wouldn't go to higher than 4500 or so, especially if you don't have slicks. I'd say 3500 would be a good RPM.

I would set injectors whatever size you plan on getting soon.

But Gamble is right, everything's adjustable so your initial settings aren't "set in stone." And with V3 (next version to hopefully be coming out in the near future) the settings will be stored and not lost when disconnecting the ECU so you won't have to worry about having the wrong settings at all.
