With the right tool it was really easy to do ! Now it's time to start tucking the engine harness. :tat:

Stay tuned !

Got some more work done on the wiring, the engine one is alsmot done, it's taking longer since I'm welding every place with tape and stock crimp connector in every harness. I'll have to buy a new gun since it's to long to weld a 14ga with my small heater ...

On this one the holes for windshield still block, just what I wanted :D Still need a bit of work but I have all the time to make it shine like new. :tat:

Here's some pics for you guys, actually it's the only thing I've done to the car for the past few weeks. Well this was 2 weeks ago and than I started removing parts on my bike for a new powder coat. I'll need to weld a new 6pts LSR subframe since I bent the stock one on a decent crash on the ice at 50mph ... I'll try to post some pics of the bike's rebuild to show you that it's serious buisness LOL :D

Tucking is almost finish except for the jonction connector ... I was happy as hell to finally remove this body harness from the car. :tat:

Still need to clean the glue but I was too tired ... Now it's time to go to sleep and dream about the cage. ;)

PS: There was no deadening mat on the driver side it's just undercoating, chek out the first page LOL

Got some time to work on my car yesterday since we have the wrong a-pillar for the 240sx roll cage. We sold the kit for a civic 98 and guess what, we mixed the a-pillar with the 240sx one ...

Here's MOST of the deadening mat:

IMG_0977.jpg

Now it's time to go back to the garage, I'll be done welding today after 100 other holes. So that mean some hours to grind ... ;)

So that's where I'm with the car right now ... Still building my bike for the race this winter so no more update for something like 4 weeks.

Nice build man love the panda theme. I've always wanted to try the dupli color interior paint. I was just wondering if it stuck well even after prep? Seems like no matter what you do the pant seems to always peel.

Prep prep prep for panel painting. You really need to clean off the old Armor All. Also on the plastic stuff, use an Adhesion Promoter.

Looking good Pat but you need to get back in the garage and work on here more brother.

Wow i can finally say there actually an UP to live in socal, your brought this thing totally back to life. With all that rust i would have called it a goner... Fabulous work man, keep it up!

Ok here we go :D

We can't install the cage as fast as I want but a least it will be like I always wanted and welded all around the pipe ;)

Looking good brother!!

Thanks man :D

Well my friend is always working on other jobs, that's why we can't go faster ... No other jobs = no money = no shop = no place to build a cage in my car ...

At least yesterday he told me that we need to be done by the end of the weekend since he needs the space. That was good news for me ! Here's what we did yesterday :D

Sorry again for the crappy pictures, I'll post better one once we are done.

Rear X FTW !!! :D
