Lets do some wires tucking.

Well I decided to cut the floor in the hatch and fab a new floor to put my battery box. It also save weight, remove 18 lbs and my new flor is 2.5 lbs.

Better be safe when you cut this floor ! Don't forget to watch the gaz filler hose that pass near where I had to cut ...

Time has come to remove the air bag, air bag ecu and wiring.
I want and will put my fuse box where the passenger air bag was.

Here's the car back in the garage.

Yesterday morning I painted my downpipe and decided to wrap it after working.

The wrap will be dry in 2 or 3 days than it will be ready for paint ! I really like the color of ThermoTech wrap paint.

The prothane bushing still need to be install but I was to tired yesterday ...

Last weekend I decided to paint all the interior trim with DupliColor gloss black paint ... I will finish this evening after work if it's not raining ... Let me tell you that now all my trim looks like new. (Will post some pictures when I'll be done.)

My block and head are now at the machine shop, should get them back this week and be ready to reassemble this 4g63t.

I also found 2 LED kit from my last car and decided to install them ...

I was cheking my parts yesterday and I found out that the battery tie down that come with the Moroso box was 1/2" too short to fit on my Optima yellow top ...

I decided to cut the battery tie down in the center and weld a piece of flat bar to make the tie down 1/2" longer. It was pretty easy and still fit in the box. After welding I polished it for that bling bling look.

Here are some pictures of the work I've done this weekend and last week ... Still need to remove the dash to paint it ...
If some-one have a faq to remove the dash it would really help me.

Time to update my thread ... It's not going as fast as I would like but I was not able to finish painting the interior because it's raining since 1 week and a half ... Will try to finish the engine this weekend.

I really like my new interior roof with no cigaret's burn.

I still need to finish the axle, thermostat housing and things that I forget as usual.

Some work I've done on the axle, still need to put the boots on but didn't have the tool to crimp them ...

After cleaning the parts I just put a clear coat. Et voila !

Just some updates before we put the engine back in ... I made a custom turbo oil return line since the kit from ExtremePSI would not fit with just what they gave it to me ... The answer is just to put a 45deg on the oil pan adapter ... Et voila

Stay tuned, engine should be in the bay by this week-end

Got my car back tonight and I was like WoW I can't beleive it's my car ! :rockon:

Here's my headlights work in progress I hope to finish this week end ...

Took me 2 hours just to clean them ... It was like they've been to war !

I just clean them with PlastX. Still need to wet sand them so they stay clear !

Work on my headlights ... The black is now painted, got to take them at the shop this evening They look awesome !

Just got my Q45 throttle Wooooot It's so BIG I can't beleive it ! Will post some pics of it and I think I'm gonna shave it ... Pretty sure I will haha

Some more updates ... (Sorry I had to take my old cell phone for the pics)

I decided to remove the yellow part in the flasher, don't know why they where different ? Maybe one is from a 96 or an eclipse ... That just gave me an excuse to paint the interior of the flasher.

Today it was raining like yesterday so got some times to work. Here are some updates

I wet sand them and they look like new ready to put on the car, just got to shave the little bracket under !

Found my usb cable so here's some new pics

Battery relocation with cut-off switch and inline fuse, all 0 gauge using stinger stuff:

New front brake lines, all in braided stainless steel -3an and GoodRidge SS Lines to caliper:

And the fuel pumps finally intank

Here is my JFM coil pack relocation bracket powder coated mercedes black ... Well it doesn't fit anymore since I have Magnecor 8.5mm wire and they are too short by a least 1 inch each. That just gave me a reason to order a COP setup with 3.5L coil.

Decided to remove all the fans and heater box :

Decided to tuck all wires from the abs ecu. Now I only have what I really need in the harness

Here are the wires that I still need to trace back in the car, the harness seems to be a pain to get on the driver side ... Will see.

Work a bit on the car tonight and finally got the Moroso thru pannel installed and more wire on my distribution blocks. They look amazing

I also think about removing the wiper when looking at these pictures

Still need 2 -4ga wire to the fuse box that will be in the glove in the next days, 1 -8ga to feed the other incar fuse box ...

Time to update and post picture of a job I will never do again ! Yesterday my head wanted to explose, my eyes where burning and I tought that it will take forever to finish this tuck, but now it's done. Well almost ...

I actually learn a lot while doing this, now I know every connector in my car

Cut and follow every wires that was unplug or not used ... Even some end at the cluster so I guess, no more abs light, srs light ...

What is not in the box have been removed this weekend

Now its time to play with the engine harness ... It's gonna be a big party haha !
