DSM parts on ebay???

I've noticed that there are a bunch of dsm parts on ebay. Most of them are inexpensive (ex: the stainless steel downpipes for around $80 and the catback exhausts for around $200) but would anybody suggest getting these things? I mean, it's a great price if they function as good as the ones that cost over $300.

Is it a good idea to buy parts from ebay?

This question has been asked many, many times already. Most people will say that buying from ebay is bad because you "could" get screwed or that the parts you buy off of ebay are p.o.s because they are cheap. Is most cases you get what you pay for. Sometimes you get a good product and sometimes it's garbage. In the end, it's your decision. Take a look at my mod list, EVERYTHING I have for my car I bought off of ebay minus the exhaust. I have never had a problem with ebay or the "ebay" products. My manifold hasn't cracked like most people's and my OBX fmic is awesome. This, however, is just my opinion. Most people wouldn't recommend buying cheap parts because they suck. It's your decision in the end, not there's.....

I buy parts off E-bay, as well as sell stuff there.

The key is to know what you are buying before you bid.

I would agree with what's been said before. You need to know what you are bidding on. Do some research about the products. And yes sometimes you find good deals and sometimes you get srewed. For example: I found brand new eagle rods for $250, great deal. And I was scammed before on a turbo kit. Just make sure you know what you are bidding on and who you are buying from.

I think that you definitely should search for parts on ebay. Many times you can get name brand parts (Injen, AEM, AutoMeter, etc.) for way below their retail price. However, when you are buying parts for your car that are some no-name brand I do feel you are taking a greater risk. I often have considered buy a cat-back exhaust on ebay, but I am hesitant to do so because the lower priced ones are "5zigen style" or "Apexi style"; you know , not the real thing. Those generic brand parts are risky to buy. Choose carefully.

the people who bought those non brand name catback systems don't seem to have any problems with them. are they telling the truth?

I bought one of those 3" N1 style exhaust from Ebay. The seller's name was FocuzMotorsport, I highly recomend him, and it arrived one day after I purchased it from ebay, of course he is in the same state, but he still put it out for shipment immediately. Just make sure you ask a lot of questions, and check their seller rating, cause I have been ripped off before too. I also, have bought two short shifters off of ebay, and they are exactly the same as the B&M shifters, only I paid like $30 for it.
