;) MOST things on Ebay are JUNK. Be very careful of what you buy and who you buy from. It is nice to buy from some of the powersellers BUT most of them are where the crap is.

anything that can be genericly good is okay to buy (corner lenses, strut bars...maybe something else) but nothing of importance (header, hi flow cats, chips of anykind...stuff like that)should be bought there IMO ... just be prepared to get what you pay for

Coilover kit is just springs that are really weak basically LOL. Don't get anything off of ebay unless the seller is selling a brand name...like greddy or autometer or something like that. Even though most people have found Megan to be rather reputable name now...

Even greddy or autometer can be junk on ebay. They can be fake just like the apexi turbo timer. Looks JUST like the real thing but its fake. You could just be getting ripped off with your so called name brand as someone who buys the off brand.

I've been burned too many times by ebay to give any credit to it. But as stated before, simple things like, head/tail lamps, strut bars, and other little things are ok.

This one says it all. If it is something that is vital to the car or safety, buy from a reputible vendor. Cosmetic items can come from ebay for cheap.

You can buy a lot of the same stuff the vendors sell on Tuners, on EBAY, at a substantial savings. Make sure the seller has good feedback, which most of the large sellers do. The private sellers(individuals) are the ones to watch out for. For instance, check the price of a Fidanza flywheel on EBAY vs. a vendor, you'll be saving close to 100 bucks. That's just one example.

That is un-true. Yes there is alot of crap on there but you can get the same junk from alot of online vendors or in your local shops. There is also a tonn of real/great products. Just make sure you do your reasearch first on what your looking at purchasing. Get part #'s, specs and know what they look like so you know you'll end up with the real thing & not some fake. If your new to tunning Ebay probably isn't the best place to start as you can easily get screwed if you don't know what your looking for. I have probably bought $6000+ in parts on Ebay in the last couple years and was 100% happy with every product I recieved & they have always been what they were described to be.

I think alot of time Ebay items is cheeper because of the smaller, out of home, etc. small business that don't have the same overhead and are able to pass the savings along (Im only refering to the "real" products as obviously you can sell cheep crap for cheep)

Do you know the definition of the word "MOST"? Yes, there are alot of great thing on Ebay. You just have to do your homework and be careful because there is a lot of crap as well. I have bought and sold on Ebay for over 4 years. You just have to be careful.;)

If its on EBay make sure its brand name. I bought a few things on EBay but nothing that could posibly be junk. I glow guages, a megan racing high flow cat and downpipe. I also bought Sonar Halo projectors off there too. A year ago when I just got into DSMs I had a 1992 GS Eclipse. I bought a short ram for the car off Ebay that was nothing it should of been. I thought it was a good deal but it ended up missing half of the parts and to top it off it did not fit. Im not saying everything is junk on Ebay but if something does look good, check the customer feedback on the seller first. Also sometimes Ebay isnt the cheapest.
