Ebay Parts

Well Im not new to DSM's, but I never buy anything off Ebay and wanted to know what are tried and true parts off Ebay that actually work and are worth the money? I hear the SSAC FMIC for 2G's is good, but what else. This would be nice post for everyone to know what works and whats crap as a review guide. Also are the B&M style ebay shifters the same or junk?

I'd look at it from the other way around...what parts do you want...then do a search of the forums to find out which of those parts are sold on eBay and of acceptable quality.

I've heard that the problem with the knock-off B&M short shifters is that the threads and shaft diameter don't always match the stock shifter. Folks get the "good" shifter knobs for a DSM and a knock-off shifter kit and the two don't go together.

I got a good logger and a good 1g BOV off of eBay.

You could get like an intake tube off of ebay and save a few bucks. I had one on my old setup and was pretty similar to the injen intake. I have a 2g FMIC from ebay and works great.

I got a used BOV off eBay and some gauges (the gauges were from glowshift). I also got a O2 housing, Downpipe, Catalytic Converter, and Cat-back exhaust. I got Rims and Tires as well. Uh ... let's see. I got brake rotors and pads. Uh.. I think that's it. Oh and a built 7-bolt motor. I'm happy with all of it. It really depends on the company selling it. There are some good ones and some bad ones. It's up to you to figure out which is which. If you'd like specific parts them PM and i'll send you the link to a good eBay store. The thing is a lot of reputable companies are selling on eBay now. You just have to find them.

Also are the B&M style ebay shifters the same or junk?

i have a JDM short throw shifter from ebay it was only like 40 somthing bucks. works great and it really has a shorter throw. i would tell any one to get one. cant beat the price. and the way it was made was the same as a B&M couldent really tell a diff between the two of them

I've always had good results with ebay external wastegates. I ran one on my rx7 for quite a while without issues, and several of my friends run them on their dsms.

I got some stuff from partsdinosaur.com. They sell on ebay. i also got my big 16g. I'm dumb and bent my valves right after I got it in but it boosted awesome until my belt skippped.

I bought a new 50 trim turbo for like 160 new. I been running it for little over a year at 18 psi with no problems. turbo carried me to a 8.01 in a 1/8 mile.

I've bought a cat back, downpipe, intake, datalogger, and short shifter from ebay and haven't had any problems
