I've been a honda guy for the first 3 years of my Auto-x and drag racing adventures. I recently had to sell my beloved 98 honda prelude to end having a car payment. A mechanic a few stalls down from my dad had a motorless 95 Eagle Talon AWD sitting in the back of the lot waiting for someone to fix her. So I took the money I had from the prelude sell and bought this dark green beauty. The motor that came with it is shot, crank-walk claimed it only 5000 miles of its rebuild. I was told a machine shop in Idaho had rebuilt the motor and with it having the exact same problem after only 5k I can't say I trust that motor so I went ahead and sourced a used one and had it shipped here. So with my background out of the way here are my questions.

I work at a chrysler dealer and I've been ordering parts as I go through here (cost+10% woot). Problem is there are 2 items that have been "Discontinued" according to our computers.

1. Oil feed line for the turbo coming off the pump Pn# MR204474
2. Manifold side throttle body gasket Pn# MD180360

Anyone have a good reputable aftermarket company that may produce these parts?
For the feed line, I tried to suggest to my dad maybe just a SS line that we can make ourselves for this but he insists on making just a steel tubeline w/ a connector.

Another question, while browsing around at intake pipes on dejontools.com I read this off of the FAQ page.

The TD05H (14b & 16g) Compressor housing outlet and elbow internal diameter is 1.37"(1.48sqin). At 6krpm & 17psi the air velocity is 623fps! It gets worse, the stock elbow necks down to 1.38sqin for a velocity of 676fps! 300fps is recommended! Does this increase Pic, you bet. Fortunately it's only a length of about 6". The stock IC pipes have a velocity of 450fps. A 2.25"upper intercooler pipe flows a velocity of 264fps.

Here's how to get 2sqin. and 465fps velocity at the worst bottleneck in your intake system. You can easily port the aluminum compressor outlet (with a round file and without removing the turbo) to 1.6"dia. and install our COP-1.8 pipe with 1.6"inner diameter. It fits directly to the stock lower intercooler hose. How much horsepower increase? I haven't measured it yet, but I'd bet at least .7psi = 5bhp

I went to measure the outlet on the turbo and the internal diamater seems to be around 1.6 allready. Is the site refering to the diamater inside AT the bend, or at the outlet itself. I'm a little uneasy porting out my turbo at such an extreme bend, I'd probally be ok having my dad do this for me but is it really gonna make much of a difference?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and thanks in advance for any suggestions. :thumb:

since you are dropping loot in your car you may want to look into upgrading to a EVOIII 16g and you can buy the ss oil feed and return lines from almost any of the reputable provider as for the gasket i have no clue... good luck, maybe you want a 6 bolt if you are afraid of crank walking...

Not looking into upgrading anything just yet. I just want to get her up and running first. I'm not so much afraid of the crank walk, besides, I don't wanna go through the hassle of making that motor fit. I'm very tedious about maintance so thats hopefully not going to be an issue. As for the larger turbo, this turbo is brand spanking new and I honestly don't need any power gains just yet. I'm probally going for auto-x set-up so I'll be looking for suspension and handling mods before I worry about power. Thanks for the reply though :) :dsm:

I can't be of much help regarding your second question about the diameters of pipes but I can help you with your first question.

I work for a couple car dealers....Hyundai, Jeep/Eagle, and Mitsu. When looking for parts for my Eagle Talon I found it better just to go to Mitsu. Many of those part#'s you have could've supersceded(sp?) to something else anyway.

If you call a Mitsu dealer and give them your full VIN# they can get you anything you need.

If you need a hand let me know.

Yeah if there anything like chrysler they superscede part numbers all the damn time. I figured since mitsu's are no longer affiliated w/ crysler(not anymore right?) that chrysler is starting to stop keeping these in national stock for chrysler.

I think I'm just gonna go straight to mitsu, thank you much sir.
