dsm link & SAFC II??

quick question all, i installed an safc already on my harness, and have now decided before even starting the car to go with dsm link(due to mods and the possibility it will knock) i am just wondering if i leave the safc tuning alone can i leave it in the car just as a monitor?

If you get a dsmlink. You won't need the safc 1-2. It is the best of both worlds. And is one of best mod someone can do . If they can afford it.

Yes, you could do this, but why? What would you possibly monitor off of the AFC that the link won't log? Seems like a waste of money to me. Rip the AFC out and sell it if you are getting DSMLink.

its already mounted and wired and i took my time and did it rite all i needed to kno was if it would be ok to leave in i have to much time and money in it to just rip out and sell thanks all

I just got DSMlink about 5 weeks ago. I left my SAFC 2 in place and just zero'ed it out. I look at it like you, I took the time to install and mount it. Plus you can have it still show, RPM, Throttle Pos, Battery voltage, that way link doesn't have to waste memory showing you those values on the laptop screen. You can still log those values with link, I have found that with my slower laptop, viewing less on the screen allows smoother data flow in general.
