2G driver side headlight and indicator not working.

so recently my driver side headlight went out and so did my indicator. so today i tried replacing it with a bulb that works and no luck, i noticed that when i signal left the little indicator in the car and the indicator in the rear blink quickly but when i signal right its not as quick I'm assuming its a short somewhere but i have no clue. any ideas?

The turn signal blinking faster on that side is just because there is not as much load on the flasher/blinker because of the light that is not working, therefore causing it to blink faster. This is what normally happens when you blow a turn signal bulb. I would guess that you just have a loose connector at the front light area, or you have some loose/broken wires in that area. ive checked all wires to the light and nothing seems to be broken or loose. i am completely clueless

Time to check for open wires with a multimeter.

And GROUNDS. If it is effecting more than one light/component. I have a front marker light that has a funky connection on it and every once in a while my blinker will flash fast and I know that that side has quit working. I pop the hood and wiggle the marker light wires (3 I think) and it will start working again and blinking goes back to normal. These are old cars so that might be a way to hunt down the problem, turn the suspected device on and go out and play with the wires at the connetor then follow the wires and wiggle some more, it might lead you right to your problem. I've just been so busy that I haven't properly fixed mine yet or I would tell you if it was my ground or connection etc...

so i took it to the shop that did some bodywork on the car. it turns out when changed the fender on the driver side they didn't put the harness connection thats under the headlight in properly and that caused only the high beams to work. Thanks for your help guys.
