Hey guys,
First post. Glad to be on board. I'm still new to DSMs and I've never raced at the track before so my knowledge on drag slicks is limited. I'm also not sure if drag slick sizes are classified the same or differently than regular radial tires.
I'm running a 13'' rotor on my redheaded step Talon (FWD) and I'm told that 17 inch wheels are the smallest sized wheels that will fit my brake set up. I've also been told that there are drag slicks manufactured to fit a 17'' wheel. I'm running TSWs with a 225/45 sized tire right now so I'm curious if it were possible to purchase a set of slicks I could A.) mount on my existing wheels or B.) mount to seperate wheels but still fit my car without changing the brake set up.
I've been cruising Ebay but outside that I'm not sure where to seek out drag slicks. I'd like to get something by the time the track opens back up.
Thanks.
