Hey guys.

I'm making 405whp on an Evo3 16G turbo, stock cams, and E85. Car weighs 2700lbs with me in it. I've got fully adjustable K-sport coil overs. I want to get down to the track when it opens but obviously being FWD, traction is presenting a challenge.

I've never raced at the track before but I'd like to be in the 11s this season. I'll be having the car tuned with boost by gear using my linkv3.

I'm running a large diameter brake on 17s right now and the way I see it I either need to downgrade to a factory rotor and fit slicks on a 15'' wheel or purchase the expensive Quaife LSD differential and run drag radials on my 17s, keeping my current brake set up.

Obviously, the LSD route will be much, much more expensive ($1600 installed for just the LSD) but it'd be a great set up for the street (my DD). On the flip side, if I hocked my brakes and went to a 15'' wheel and slicks I'd save a lot of money and still be able to hook at the track on the factory diff.

I'm sure I'm not making enough power to break the axles or differential yet so durability isn't really my concern at this point.

Anyone have experience running a 17'' drag radials before? Which set up would net the best results at the track?
