Really stupid, i guess my account got restricted for some reason because i can't post a thread in the turbo section when i was able to so i'm going to post my question here.

I'm starting to understand how to instal a turbo in my 99 gs. i got all the basics down and i'm learning how to do the whole fuel system. i understand the fuel pump, and i seen demonstrations of how to wire up the fmu. i already, read http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...uild-420a-stage-2-turbo-kit-under-1000-a.html
that plenty of times. the thing i don't understand is the whole Fuel cut defender and Vac lines like with the electronic FCD's. where does this hook up, and what else hooks up to it. GSGoinFast saying he hooked up his BOV here tapped the brake booster here. i'm so lost at this point. does anyone have any pictures to where all this is located and how everything hooks up, i would much appreciate it.
i been doing so much research, i was up all night trying to understand everything GSGoinFast has done i just need this little bit of advice
thank you

The way a fuel cut defender works is your stock map sensor is designed to only read vacuum levels. When you boost your car and the pressure starts to go above 0 meaning boost, it was not designed for that pressure and wigs out causing fuel to be cut to the injectors. A FCD's job is to modify the signal the map reads or limit the pressure before is reaches the map sensor so the ecu does not freak out. I don't have any pictures of where it installed but have seen some floating in threads on 2gnt. If your n/a is going to see boost, you need some kind of FCD.

The fuel cut defender is there to save your motor in case you feed more air into the engine then it can provide fuel for and to prevent you from making stupid threads on why your motor blew.

Actually you can post in the 420a bolt on section; which is right where you would find this info OP.
Try searching specific to the 420a and you will find your answers alot easier. (By this I mean use that box on the right side when you search; select the 420a forums)
