I have two things in the 97 GSX that I just bought engine bay that don't seem right to me. I have outlined them in yellow. Thanks.

first one is a water line for your turbo that appears to be blocked off your turbo may not be water cooled so whoever put it on blocked the line

Yea those arent a problem. For the first one, someone may have used the wrong coolant pipe and that fitting was not used.. The other, is a spot to hold the harness down on the IM. Your car may not have that plastic piece around the wiring harness. Not a problem.

Alright thanks guys. I thought maybe on the second one it looks like the hole is tapped all the way into the manifold. I wasn't sure since on the other side there is a vacuum hose that is T'd.

Don't know how well vacuum hose caps would work with hot coolant/water, but those might be another option. Find them at any automotive store (NAPA, Autozone, etc).

Thanks that helped a lot. I'm having issues after I changed the plugs, wires, and put 850cc injectors in. The car won't start. That helps put my mind at ease about those pics at least.

do you have an aftermarket fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator?
