Does this look right "datalogger Cable"

I was tired of attempting to connect using backyard wires so i found a direct connect type harness and still no connection....What am i doing wrong?

That does look like the correct harness. But is it the correct harness? I ask because, it can LOOK like the correct one and even plug in correctly but the pins could be different if the cable was made for something else.

If your 100% sure it is the correct harness for that logger, I would start looking at the obd port, the pins in the connector for bends or broken and the logger itself.
