Does the Portfueler need the FCD?

All problems have been solved, Thanks guys. Now that all of my quirks have been worked out, it is time for me to break her in.

Please explain what you did to fix your problem for furture readers.

+1...do you plan on telling us how the car magically fixed itself while still making yourself sound like the uber technician hehe.

Okay the biggest thing was, LOL, we wired the tach adapter wrong. You need to wire the red and red/green wire to the BIG black wire coming out of the coil harness.

What else? Ah, yes I have a T3/T4 57 trim hybrid turbo, running a 5 lb spring will OWN your rpm's at WOT, we added the other spring making it a 10 lb spring and it spools all the way up to 7k rpms. These larger turbos have a minimum efficiency.

As I sit now, I took my spring out of the wastegate to run N/A for a bit to break her in, those pistons were pretty but not pretty enough for me to see them again.

Hope that helps Mark.

Ok, so you boosted some already I see...ya know, it only takes one time ;)

Luckily, no harm has been done. I have almost 250 miles on the engine so far and it is running great with no leaks, still no wastegate spring.

I think the spring I got with my wastegate is a Homedepot special that got attacked by a can of paint. It is the small blue but that is supposed to be 8lbs, it tapped out at 5lbs, Oh well. Anyone have an extra, or do I have to dish out that $30 bucks?

Not sure what you're tryin to say LOL...

so the question, should we still hook-up a FCD when using the portfueler system.. if we do, then will the stock fuel curve on the portfueler cause us to run too rich during boost.... also can someone repost how to hook-up the water lines for the turbo.....

The reason why you're probly not making any power is because you need the valve seat/ seal. Heres a link to get one.
