I can't answer the FCD question to %100 certitude as I am not too familiar with the N/T ECU but if you have a fuel cut option in your ECU then yes it will work.

As for the Blitz TT, it will work just fine. Basically a TT simply provides ignition power for a set amount of time after the key is removed. You could even install it on a N/T car :p

Will an TurboXS FCD work on our cars? and has any one here put a blitz turbo timer on there n/t?

Welcome to DSMtuners.

This is your first, friendly grammar lesson. :)

The only time you should really use "an" is when the word immediately following it begins with a vowel. Example: Is this an insult? RIGHT! Is this a insult? WRONG!

Next up, you will advance quickly through the ranks if you can master the difference between there, their, and they're. EXAMPLES!

You are over there in Ohio.
Proven members are proud of their grammar.
They're always looking for new guys who show effort and promise.

Now, that wasn't so bad, was it? :thumb:

On to your questions!

Up until now, I did not know that Trubo XS even offered a FCD, however it looks like it offers the ability to adjust fuel cut, while there is no adjustment on a 2GNT. Once that MAP sees any boost, the ECU is going to cut fuel entirely. Your best bet is to drop the $50 or so it typically costs for the missing link-style check valve FCD.

You can likely install just about any turbo timer on a 2GNT. I know of at least a couple people who run a Blitz unit. Aren't they the ones who have that really thin one called the "Pencil" or whatever? The key is finding the instructions and then searching (here and on 2GNT) for previous posters asking for advice on installation of any timer, with the Blitz being your ideal result.

Again, welcome to the forum. The more effort the established guys see on your part, the more effort you'll see on their part. ;)

humm.. now on the TT what wires would you tap into, to hardwire it in? I know the Igniton wires, But I tired to use a wireing diagram from the books to are car, but it really dident do me any good. Thanks, Jeff

Bah! There are so many possible ways for a mechanical ML-type device to fail... I'd rather use the electronic version. I've been making them for other 2GNT members for a while now; PM me if you need one.

Because I don't want to step out of line I won't say anything about the grammar seeing as it's been covered :D

Anyway, the TT will come with a wiring diagram. From there you'll need to identify the correct wires needed refering to your car manual to identify color and location of those wires and splice into them. just make sure you solder the connections to ensure proper funtionality.

Cheers!!

Yes, I can see my grammer is not the very best. I had alot better things to do then pay attention in my days in school. More important things were around, like BMX. Also I dident go to school to become a book writer. I work on cars, its what im now in school for. I dident ask for a grammer lesson, I simply asked for help on 2 things Im not to sure about. and im still not sure about, but I did learn a grammer.

one, my TT only came with a diagram on where to put in the adapter you can buy as a plug in. Two, I simply put I could not find the wire colors in the diagram. and was asking if any one has done this and knew. Sorry if thats so complex. cheers, usted joder estúpido a idiota.

Hope this helps....

Blitz TT Wiring colors

RED - 12v

GREEN - IGNITION

BLUE - ACCESSORY

BLACK - GROUND

PURPLE - GROUND or EBRAKE

Now, match those colors to your manual and off to the races you go :)

I was friendly. I gave you advice like I would any other new member. I then proceeded to answer your question about installing a turbo timer which you could easily figure out by A) reading the directions that came with the product or B) using the search which, according to the rules, you're supposed to do before posting a simple question like this. And I get, "Screw you, idiot" from the FNG. That's really nice, kid.

Oh well. Your loss.

Is that what it meant...man I gotta learn Spanish....I'm going through Google translate and all the other places trying to figure it out...

How nice is all I have to say about that.

Happy to have learnt something new today :D

Sorry, we can't have insults directed at other members... no matter what language they're in.

As for the grammar, well, we support proper grammar on this site because it makes communicating questions and answers much easier. We don't ask that you have a Ph.D. in English or something, just make a valid attempt.

Take a look around 2GNT's forums, and you'll find some really specific information pertaining to TTs and FCDs.

One last bit of information; the ignition wiring harness for a 2G GS-T for a TT should work just fine for an RS or GS.
