Portfueler with the venom intake manifold.

hey, i was just wondering if anyone has used the venom intake manifold with the port fueler. I know an obx manifold wont work with the portfueler. Would it be the same issue with the venom manifold?

btw, the obx will work with the portfueler you just have to do some grinding to relieve the issues with fitting.

Thanks, btw what do you guys recommend the venom or obx? from what I read the venom flows more but its pricey. should I just go with the obx?

dont waste money on the intake very little gain. your stock intake will flow sufficante air.

I gotta agree with miklaver. the only reason i changed my from stock was bc i was going with a 60mm TB and it was easier to buy a new IM rather then have my stock one bored out.

read that and tell me if its worth it. That is on a NT so the flow will make a bigger difference on a FI application. The 60mm throttle body is from Modernperformance.com more than likely. If you want another factory tb to have sent out for porting along with an upperintake manifold I have some extra. Let me know.

This is the exact setup that I plan on running in my car when I start boosting. I think the problems come into play with hitting the firewall and if so you can do what the guy that I bought mine off of did. Here is a pic.

well actually once installed in the car you have about 1.5 to 2 inches from the IM to the firewall. so really dont even have to worry about the IM hitting the firewall during engine torque.

Yeah but have you seen how far those fittings stick out if you hook them up on the back where it comes normally??
