Does my block look clean enough to put the head gasket on?

Id see if you could get it a lill cleaner as i still see some area's that have some gasket material still there. But other than that it looks good. Also if you have access get a tap and run it through all the head bolt threads. And if you can afford it ARP studs are the way to go.

It looks fine. just make sure that you use a razor blade for final cleaning and then some brake clean and a good clean rag. flat , clean and no oily residue that's the idea. but on a side note you should check the deck surfaces on the head and block for flatness. just a thought
