How does anybody know the name of this part/piece on the rear undercarriage of a 2g?

"unibody"? sorry im joking but it looks like you have a large section of the unibody circled... You want a specific name for that part? sorry im not sure but id probably refer to it as the unibody piece that holds the rear trailing arm. Why, might I ask, would you need to know the name of it tho?

To see if the part is sold online because on my car its pretty rusty.

Not likely you will find that part new. I would talk to Steve Miller at Miller imports. He may have a southern car with alot less rust that he can cut a section out of.

So clean it up with a sandblaster, repaint, and then undercoat it... you could try to find that somewhere but you would have to have it welded on... its not a removable part....

Yeah, that's looks like just a little surface rust. Blast it, paint it, coat it, run it.

Passengers side rear control arm chassis mount. Specifically the rear subframe of the chassis that the lower control arm bolts to on the underbody of the vehicles chassis

Atleast that's my generic term for the rear subframe where the control arm mounts
