Does a auto 6 bolt transmissin and a 7 bolt transmission have the same part number?

I have a 92 eagle talon tsi with a 6 bolt engine in it and a transmission from a 7 bolt. I am looking at getting a transmission from a 6 bolt and I was wondering if they have the same part number if in case I get a used one that needs to be rebuilt. I know that they 90-early 92 is the 6 bolt engine but I dont know if they have the same part number.

All 1G (6 and 7-bolt) AWD (manual/auto) transmissions are compatible with each other.

However, the AWD 1989-1990.4 (first batch) only offered 5-speed, and is completely incompatible with everything

2G AWD transmissions should work too, however your TCU may need a different connector.

If this is a FWD question, I have no information for you.

So when i order a rebuild kit for the awd transmission is there a specific rebuild kit that I need to buy?

I've never rebuilt an automatic, consult someone who has, I don't know if shepherd does automatics, but I'm sure he knows someone that does.
