Do Not reply to threads in the Newbie forum saying "use the search"

We created the Newbie forum to be a dumping ground for common and repetitive posts in the forum. It becomes annoying to the regulars when they see all the same questions being asked over and over, when, if the person asking the question were to take a few minutes and do some keyword searches, or read the information found in the Resources section, they could have easily found the answer to their question.

With that said, what we don't want to see in our forums, especially the Newbie forum, are replies to these types of repetitive questions where people reply with "use the search", and act like assholes. Instead, we encourage you to reply to repetitive threads describing how you were able to do a search and found a few threads that contain the answers, linking the threads, and sharing the keywords you used to find them. Teach them how to use the tools so they can use them on their own next time.
