I just ordered my Megan racing springs and was told i would need a camber kit. If I don't buy it would anything really happen? Also, anyone have personal experience with these megan springs?

Yes you will need a camber kit! No way around it.

I dont know how much the rear kit for 2g's are but 1g you can get the bolts for the front at oreillys for like $15 and the DME kit for $52. Its just the nature of the beast when you put lowering springs on a car.

Also you better have some good shocks too with your bumpstops cut down.

Yes I lowered my old 98 GST 1.2" and the inside of my tires were gone and still had 75% tread on the outside so save some money (on tires) by buying the camber kit and taking it to an alignment shop afterward and have a 4 wheel alignment done

Yes as they said the camber kit is essential. I lowered my car and even with a camber kit in the front and rear it was not fun to get the suspension 'dialed-in' on the alignment machine.

**You need the camber kit becuase in stock form, mitsubishi didnt allow for ajustability of the suspension caster and camber settings.

^--This would have been nice to know a couple months back, I waited like 2 wks for mine to come in and they cost over $50.:banghead:

How much of a window do I have before the tires get really bad without the camber kit? Cause if i get these springs it might be another while longer till' i can get the camber kit.
