interesting, so a 94 n/a OFH will work just fine on turbo blocks? the n/a is what came with my current block but i have a 90 OFH but no cooler or oil lines for it. should I switch them or is it fine?

A 94 N/A OFH will work fine on a 7-bolt N/A or turbo block. OFH's are 6-bolt/7-bolt specific. If your engine is a 7-bolt, the 90 OFH won't bolt on.

i just built a 2g with a 6 bolt, and used a n/t front oil pump/cover with the matching n/t ofh. with no oil cooler. will this be ok?

So if I wanted to run the sandwich cooler setup like a 2g 7 bolt on my 90 6 bolt, can you tell me exactly what I need. Sorry for being a pain.

You need a 6-bolt turbo oil filter housing from 1991 or 1992. You need a 1991+ turbo water pipe. You need a turbo thermostat housing. You need the hoses/coolant lines between the thermostat housing and oil cooler and between the oil cooler and water pipe.

Yes.
