I bought my car with the ac removed but he had the parts in a box. The problem is I think I'm short 2 parts. Does anyone have pics of all the parts I need for the ac system that goes in the engine bay? I have the compressor, condenser, and three ac lines. I think I still need one smaller ac line that comes off the condenser to the receiver can, and I also need the receiver can with the bracket. Also any pics of where these parts go in the car would help to. Thank you for the help, Arizona summer is creeping up and I'm determined to get this done asap.

You will want to buy a new reciever/dryer anyways. It has a dessicant bag to absorb any water/moisture in the system. If ou get one thats been out in the open, its no good, it absorbed moisture from the ambient air and has saturated the bag.

But basically, you need the line that goes from the compressor to the condenser. The condenser itself. The line from the condenser to the evaporator (inside the car, under the dash) lines( if any) from the evaporator to the reciever/dry. and the line from the dryer to the compressor. You will also need an expansion valve, I believe its located inside with the evaporator. AND make sure you put oil in the compressor before you assemble everything, but not too much.

Then take it to a shop and have them fill it with refrigerant Yes it will cost more than going to Advance and picking up a couple cans and slapping them on, but it will also ensure you do not over, or under, fill your system, which will cause the system to explode if over filled, or your air wont be very cold if underfilled. Our cars call for 1.44 lbs of refrigerant, so like I said... take it to a shop.

Thank you, that is good to know about the receiver. I will order a new one of those right away. Also thanks for the link for the expansion valve I was a little confused about that. I plan on having professionals do most of the install to make sure every thing is oiled correctly and properly vacuumed and refilled. I will make sure to post a pic of all the parts before they go in and give an update asap.
