I figured out I am missing the tensioner from my car. This was why I could not figure out how I am supposed to tension the belt.

You have to take that bracket off first to get the belt on the pulley since that pulley is right next to the block. 3-14mm bolts takes that bracket off.
Those two bolt holes is where your tensioner bolts up. There's one other bolt, too lazy to go out to the car and look at it.
Find the tensioner, run it all the way down to the bottom, put belt around all the pulleys, then lift the tensioner up and get the bolts started. Once the tensioner bracket bolts are tightened then just use the tio bolt to get proper tension. Then tighten the center bolt on the tensioner itself, #2 in the picture above.


maybe checking the date should be the first thing you do from now on?
