Disconnect BCS when going to a MBC or just leave it connected and hanging?

Do i leave it hanging there or can i take it out now that i have a MBC.Will it throw a check engine light if i take it out? I was thinking it might since theres electrical connection coming from it.Anyone?Thanks

I have mine disconnected. No problems with it.

Ive read post on here where people say it will throw CEL and others that disconnected it.I think i might keep it connected right now since im throwing too many other CELS with this 6bolt swap.
