Discolored headlight.

My dad hit a deer and smashed the left headlight awhile back, and replaced it with one out of a junkyard. It's discolored yellow though, and the original is nice and clear. How can I clean it up?

Wet sand it with a very very very fine grit, and buff the hell out of it.

Very very fine means 2000-3000grit. Wet sand then buff and they should look good.

I got the little 5 dollar cleaning kit from autozone and used that and it worked great. And now to keep it up I use mothers mag like stated above.

turtle wax brand polishing compound if all it is is discolored. otherwise you deed to wet sand it with something to smooth it back out.

i would say get some 1500-3000 grit sand paper, a water spray bottle and do a light wet sand job on them then polish them with some mothers headlight cleaner. mine came out looking brand new! good luck!
