ok well hi there to start off im completely lost in my current build.i ordered clevite bearings my crank is .25 over so i got them like so. but there's a huge problem all my bearings fit but my thrust bearings that go in the center are to big and my crank isn't going in. so i would like to know how could i know what year block i have? and how could i fix this problem?

thank you

uhh yeh, you have a 2nd gen 7 bolt, but you got 6 bolt bearings???

You rebuilt the 95 GST engine right?? thats a 7 bolt.

no sir im sorry i kinda wrote this all messed up any ways i have a 6 bolt motor that im building.im wondering from witch year to witch year are the thrust bearings smaller than the other years of 6 bolt. because my crankshaft is not going in because of my thrust bearing being to wide out and its hitting the edge of the center of my crankshaft.

They shouldn't be any different to my knowledge. You are absolutely positive its a 6 bolt? Not saying your judgement is wrong. Also are you sure its a turbo 6bolt and not an NA 6 bolt motor i don't think that would be a difference from the NA to the turbo 6bolt but I could be wrong there.

its a n/a 6 bolt motor but there's no difference at all only the rods and pistons and filter housing other than that there the same.also the squirters there's no squirters witch is awesome as well.im thinking the bearings were send wrong so ima call them see whats up.ill keep you guys updated by the way thanks for the information.

6 bolt rod's are the same whether turbo or not.

Fella, 6-bolt non-turbo rods are the exact same as turbo rods. The pistons are different. What white92talontsi is telling you is the truth.

correction no there not buddy compare N/A rods to turbo rods and you'll see the difference.

How many sets do you want me to compare for you? I've got about 5 of each. They are all the same except some casting numbers, and those are different on every set anyway.
