different pistons

would these work on a 4g63t from a 90 laser or are they different/ what would the difference be?/

No, they are for a1g 7-bolt engine. Get the 90-92.5 pistons if you have a 6-bolt engine.

Your 1990 is a 6 bolt and the rods are different from a 7 bolt. 7 bolt pistons will work in your car WITH SOME MODIFICATIONS to the rods done by a machineshop. There is tons of info on this do a search for 2g pistons on 1g rods. Goodluck.

To use those pistons you would have to get the small end of your rods enlarged to 22mm, and narrowed. Why don't you just buy 90-92 pistons? Those 1g 7-bolt pistons are still 7.8:1 compression.
