different kind of budget build

Looking for a nice budget built engine to handle 450HP and trying to keep under $2500, not including cost of machine work, i have a friend who owes me a favor thats doing it. I have been told 1G rods and 2G or EVO piston combo, eagle rods and wiseco pistons and of course the crower rods Arias piston combo which i would like to have but out of my budget. I will list basic goals for the engine, but they dont all have to be met because some dont go hand in hand but hey I can dream. 7500RPM, 450HP max, a broad power band, and as much torque as possible.

You can build a nice stroker within that price...

Plenty of torque and spool... since your not looking for high revs, i think it would be perfect for ya

I Personally like Manley Rods, Wiseco Piston combo

A nicely refreshed head with a good set a cams is all you'll need to achieve 7500rpm shifts and 450whp

go the stroker route or just do a 2.0 build with higher compression pistons for a broad power band, and torque

I like the stroker idea especially mated up with a fast spooling turbo! I'm thinking about just using a GT2871 turbo, proved worthy in my old car and had an awesome power band! I'm building this for a street class time attack, and i need power but no as much as a good handling. Also would it be a good idea to knife edge the stroker crank and then get an ATI damper? I was told yes and no, but I do know it will help it rev a little faster especially going a stroker route.

You may want something a little higher revving if your gonna be doing some time attack with it then.
