I am building a 2.4 on a budget. I have an idea of the direction and have some parts and have been saving. I am about to order the bearings, rings, and valve springs. I have a few questions.

What kind of ring end gaps am I looking for? Its gonna be a Daily driver on a 20g and 20 psi.

I am looking at ACL Engine Pro bearings. Are'nt those recommended since Clevite stopped using the tri-metal? I am running Scat rods. Do they take the 6-bolt bearings like the Eagle's?

I have decided to get just valve springs and not ti retainers. Should I run Brian Crower or Manley?

I am going to be getting new rings for my pistons. They are .020 over Weisco's. Do I need to run Weisco rings or is there a better/ cheaper brand that would be just as good?

Sorry for all the questions but i'm getting to the critical parts and nobody around here knows anything about turbo'ed 4 cyl's.

Thanks, Nathan

Well, I ordered my parts today. I ended up getting weisco rings, manley valve springs, cometic head gasket, engine pro rod and main bearings, 3g lifters, and the main bearing cap aligment dowel kit that mach v sells.
