You should be able to replace it with some other set screw. I will look I might have one off a damaged BOV i could give you

If you did I would definitely pay for it, I'm freaking out that this thing won't work.... I also ordered a road race engineering UICP with a Greddy flange, so i'm going to have to make it work somehow!

Crap thats what I was afraid of, do you have any pics of what exactly you JB welded?

Here's a pic of the inside of a Greddy BOV I found on some Honda forum, It sort of looks like it will still be sealed. What exactly should I be looking for that I would need to seal?

Do you know if the threads on the top hole are still intact? If so just go to a hardware store and replace it with a bolt. And if not just tap the hole and place a bolt in it so you can adjust the bov.

And its not like you got ripped off. The Ebay ad clearly shows that the top adjustment bolt was missing.

Im not sure, to tell you the truth I don't really know what the inside of the bov looks like anyone have any pics?

Sweet thanks bro, I think ill just take the bov to the home depot the day I get it and see what I can do!

Original poster: You don't have to make multiple posts. You can click edit and add more to a previous post instead of 3 posts in a row.

On topic: Once you find a bolt to fit it, I would suggest rapping the bolt with teflon tape so it doesn't leak boost. And from my experience these bov's work pretty good until you start running higher boost levels.

Wow, I didn't even notice I could edit my posts. Sorry I'm pretty new to this but does the bolt just push down on the top assembly? So it wouldn't matter what size the bolt is as long as I can get it to thread in correct?

As far as boost, It won't be seeing above 20psi for awhile...
