I was under my car tightening up my downpipe when my wrench hit a couple of wire on the alternator and created a spark. I didn't think anything of it until I started my car. Car starts up fine, but my A/C doesn't work, none of the fans on the radiator work, my radio doesn't work, interior lights won't come on. I cannot connect to Dsmlink now, says timeout. The strange thing is when I turn on my headlights, they turn on, but when I go to turn them off they will still stay on. I have to pull the fuse now for it to shut it off, but when I do that my horn turns on and stays on until I pull the horn fuse. Before all this, my car was running fine without any problems. I have checked all the fuses and they are all good, I even swapped some of the relays around in the fuse box and still no go. Someone please help and if my ECU is blown does anyone have one that they are getting rid of? This is my daily driver and I'm screwed if I can't get this car up and running soon.

You might have a blown fuse link. I did the same type of thing once hitting a live wire under my dash and it caused all kinds of interior lights, fan motor, door locks, and head light to not work properly. It took it to a shop that is good with electrical issues and about 30 minutes and $50 later it was fixed. Hope your problem is similar and cheap.

if your radio, clock, interior lights, power locks and fans dont work all of a sudden.. , its a fuse.. just look for it and youll be fine :thumb: check the fuses PROPERLY..often a hairline crack wont go noticed..use a multimeter or a led tester

i found that out while doing some stereo wiring.. everything stopped working( grounded the hot wre from the 12v socket in car..it was frail and i touchecched the radio frame thing..) :coy:

OFF topic> my radio frame holder thing is all rusted..any of you guys noticed the same?

Check out your alternator fuse. It's in the main fuse box in the engine bay. It should come out with 2 bolts holding it in. I dropped my heat shield on the alternator wire and it sparked and did the same thing. I even had the same symptoms.
