Check your MAF? and like weldtuner said, your clamps too. Check your intercooler piping as well. Had a major issue with getting that to stay on with a 2g I used to play with.

Sounds like you missed something and/or forgot to tighten a clamp. what pressure did you test at?

Everything is tight ive triple checked it.... Tested at 15-16 psi.... No leaks and no shaft play.... I dunno-- car RUNs great right now and then when your driving and come to a stop it doesnt wanna idle... could it be a sensor?? I did recently hack my MAF too... removed lower honeycomb but didnt back out screw or anything yet... :dsm:

Did you remember to plug it back in?

It seems to be plugged in... but is it possible theres a break in the wire or something.... I am at a loss--- It seems to only do it when its up to temp not when its cold... sounds like a MAF? I dont think a boost leak would do that would it?? my car holds boost... runs good untill I stop then it dies unless I rest my foot on the gas

Perhaps your MAF connector is loose. I know on the 2g this can wear over time and not snap/lock anymore. Also on a 2g maf the orange "gasket" inside the wiring harness can bunch up and make it hard for the connectors to touch.

I think you should pull out your ISC and test it. Might be on its way out and you're just now seeing it. Also check the BISS on top of the throttle body. It may have backed out a little bit.

Sorry im a little new... whats an ISC? and how do I check the BISS?

ALSO- Could the MAF getting wet cause this to happen, I cleaned my K&N filter and it might have been damp when I put it back on
